On 1st December 2013, our very own Head of the Legal and Compliance Department, Robyn Darley, will run the half marathon at the Standard Chartered Marathon Singapore 2013.
Hundreds of runners have pledged to be a part of this year’s “Run For Good” Charity Programme. The programme aims to create a positive impact by encouraging runners to dedicate their run to worthy causes.
Robyn will be running to raise funds for Operation Smile Singapore, which is committed to providing free treatment and care to children suffering from cleft lips and palates as well as other facial deformities. To date, Robyn has raised S$920.
We would like to invite you to help Robyn run for a good cause. Read more about her mission and make a pledge at her fundraising page “Running for Smiles :)” http://www.giveasia.org/s/9cugf. No amount is too small.
100% of your donations will go directly to Operation Smile Singapore.
Commenting on the impending run, Robyn said, “Finishing a race always brings a smile to my face – something many of us take for granted. I’m so excited to be able to do something I love while raising money for such an amazing organization. By conquering this race, I hope I can help make a difference in giving these children confidence that they can conquer anything. 21 kilometers will be a breeze knowing I’m running for smiles :).”
