Stemedica Asia is a subsidiary of Stemedica, a leading biotechnology company committed to developing and manufacturing US cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) grade allogeneic adult stem cell products.
Our products are made for medical institutions and pharmaceutical companies developing drugs for severe conditions such as spinal cord injury, central nerve system damage, stroke and diabetic retinopathy.
Stemedica is headquartered in San Diego, California and has manufaturing facilities in Lausanne, Switzerland and Seoul, Korea.
Why did you establish your Asian presence in Singapore?
Stemedica Asia was established in Singapore to serve all of the Asian market needs. We chose Singapore out of all Asian cities for its strategic location and transparent business processes. In addition, the business practices in Singapore can easily be coordinated with the US audit needs.
What are your goals in Asia?
Stemedica Asia would like to set up a distribution and marketing center for Asia. Our cell products are manufactured under the strictest US FDA guidelines and the facility and standard operating procedures go through yearly audit in the United States. Hence, bringing those final products to Singapore and marketing them for distribution across Asia is the first step. In addition, we would like to work with the local scientific resources to set up a cell and cell product distribution center.
What was your experience of Rikvin?
